    Juvenile males coming into adult plumage have such a colorful, interesting look. This one was lured into range with a banana feeder. I wish he had chosen a somewhat smaller perch!

    Cool bird. Great job with the exposure and with the bird's orientation and head angle. You should have the person who selected that perch hanged...

    Agree that the perch is overpowering. What I am not liking though is the gray BG which surprises me as it is neutral and doesn't compete with the bird. Too me it makes the image look drab IMO.

    Beautiful bird and great details. I've never seen this species before. Thanks for sharing. Too bad about the perch, although I might not go quite as far as Artie. :)

    Fantastic bird. All good apart from perch as already mentioned. Wonder if a crop like this may "lighten" the weight of the perch in the image.
