    Default Ringneck Duck (drake)

Taken a few weeks ago while out in San Diego. I was partiallly submerged in semi frigid water for this one. I think Al and Fabs can attest to that as they were around. The thing is that water temps in the fifties are okay if you just left Minnesota when the air temp was -15. :D Anyways, pool #5 Santee lakes.

    ISO 200 ~ F/8 ~ -1/3 EV ~ 1/500 sec ~ shot in RAW

    Thanks for looking. :)

Great angle and water colors. Exposure control and details look good, too. Maybe a bit S/H to get more details in the blacks.

Mike, Did you get wet on that capture? :D On my CRT it looks just right in the blacks. Nice one. Bob

Beautiful Mike! The low perspective was well worth the dip! Lovely water colors, good composition and exposure.

Excellent job, Mike and the warm water (colors ;) ) really make it stand out. Good work of the 'floating' pupils :)

    Water cold??????? Nahhhhhh....

Nice work. I might take a bit off the bottom but still looking good as presented.

Very nice work, Mike. I love the iridescence of the feathers just below his eye.
