Unreal image IMHO. I like the diagonal line, very strong. It reminds me (other than the yellow) of gums and a set of molars. Very creative work young lady. Thanks for sharing.

You captured a Lily detail that is seldom noticed, yet is beautiful.

    Hi Denise,

The thing that keeps grabbing my attention here is the wonderfully soft light pastel yellow which looks beautiful. Then there is the thing that keeps pulling me away and that is the the hard jagged edge which to me is a counterpoint to the beautiful soft yellows.I have to admit that I am having difficulty coming to grips with clashing of feelings created by the two. Hope that makes some kind of sense.

Very nice, Denise! My first thought was that it looked like the edge of a closed clam! The colors are beautiful and the composition is nice but for me this would be stronger as a vertical. My eye keeps wanting to flip it over!

I agree with Anita that you captured an unusual view of a bud that is seldom noticed. Well done.

Very unusual view, Denise. Like the soft colors with the accent of green in the corner. Agree with Julie that this would probably look better as a vertical.

Thankyou everyone-I did think it looked a bit like teeth and gums and that's why I put it on it's side.

Hey Denise, It does look like someones morals, I didn't see it until I read the comments. Nice comp and soft pastels.

I will have some lilies starting to open soon on my back porch and will be thinking of this picture. Very cool idea!

Mike, I thought someone's "morals" could only be seen from the inside?:D

Denise, good eye in seeing the potential here. Very intriguing image.
