Love the rusty iron sheets framing this very handsome cat. What a sad, unloved life some of these felines lead. :(

Thanks for sharing this image Dave.

Perfect backdrop for a feral Dave. They must have a really tough go of things. I adopted a feral cat once. I fed him and eventually he came in. When spring came he got really depressed. I thought he wasn't liking his food, but all he wanted to do was go back outside. Never saw him again.

thank you friends.....I fed these ferals a huge turkey carcass at Thanksgiving.
They took turns feasting and standing guard. After recent spring floods I
    have not seen the group

Man, I hope they are OK. But cats are usually more streetsmart than dogs. I mean, cats can hunt alone, dogs in packs. Who's smarter then? ;)

This would be a wonderful image for an SPCA ad. It is too bad about the number of ferals there are. There seem to be just too many to really develop an acceptable solution. In our area the local SPCAs have been catching, neutering and releasing. Not perfect, but at least an attempt to deal with the problem.

I am really glad this cat is in Louisiana, otherwise it would be living at my house like more than a dozen other previous feral cats. I love the copper eyes, the sheet metal really brings out their color.
