The sunsets in Baja are magical, this is one brief moment. Once the sun goes down the light lingers and the clouds radiate different shades of pinks, reds and purples.

    Hi Deborah,
I like the composition, image and capture...The tones and hues of the sky are superb...my only suggestion would be to adjust the horizon 1 degree CW...looking forward to your next one...

a very nice image Deborah......sunsets are always impressive with digital.
Along with .5º rotation you "might" also look at a pano crop. The stunning
red layer repetition at the top tends to draw the eye up and hold it there IMO.

Here is an alternative with rotation, crop and small levels adjustment to
    enhance a bit

Thanks for all your comments - the slight rotation really helps. Dave, like your pano suggestion, I have other images from the same area that might definitely be improved with judicious cropping. Have mixed feelings though with this one as the changing color and patterns of the clouds are particularly intense and in my mind form an intrinsic part of the experience I was having.
