    Default Common Yellowthroat

While out this morning this Common Yellowthroat offered me a couple of nice poses. Canon 20D w 200 F/2.8L and 2X TC, 1/800 sec @ F/8.0, ISO 400, Manual exposure. I wish I was a bit better at PP as I would like to get rid of the blue, but every attempt I made looked ,,, well bad. C & C is welcome

You did well with the relatively harsh light and with the light coming from behind the bird, from our right. You might try protect and defend cloning with a big soft brush. To find a tutorial, do a search in the BAA Bulletin Archives.

I don;t really mind the blue in the BG, fill flash would've been great IMO. Nice pose, BG, colors, detail and species. A slightly better HA would have been better too IMO. Congratulations!

Very interesting horizontal pose, agree about a slight head turn.
The blue patch in BG is somewhat out of place, but still nice image.
