    Default Junior can fly!!!!!

Well, 4th of July come, the chick fledged, in a patriotic effort. Not sure he wants to get too far from the tree, but today he circled the tree a couple of times in the company of the adults. It was a sight never to be forgotten. He's still insecure and likes to sit in a branch rather than fly. Notice the short, stubby tail compared to the parents and the creamy chest.

Of course it can fly; it's a bird! My favorite part is the reddish orange streaking on the breast.
