This was taken two days ago -- on an overcast morning. It was a little "blah" as exposed, so I have tried to warm it up a bit, trying to simulate a setting-sun atmosphere. Have I gone too far? Does it work? Other suggestions?

Hi Wendell Not sure what the original looked like but this is not working !!!

I think there was some light and all coming from the right? The right side is a little over but the breast area under Exp comp seems reasonable

Framing wise try having moving the bird up/down to avoid cutting the head with the water's edge !!!

agree with al and can add that there seems to be a magenta color cast there too. getting down lower would have prevented the head cut by the bg.

Alfred, Harold and Gus: Really appreciate you critiques! Guess I'll abandon this one -- but, thanks to you, I learned a lot . . .
