Lovely light and spread of wings Chris. I also like the spread tail.

Just about perfect. Love the banking pose, head turn, and the rim of black feathers.

    Well Done!

Incredible as noted above. Absolutely incredible. The only thing that I would recomend would be to tone down the electric blue sky a bit. Love the HA and the detail in the face.

Excellent exposure and detail on the underwings Chris, and I like the light in this too. Great capture.

I was just thinking, this is pretty good considering it was made with a lens that--according to the internet experts--is not sharp and a camera--again according to the internet experts--that cannot focus. Man, you gotta love it.

Thanks for the comments it's much appreciated. Artie thanks. Yep sometimes the 100 to 400 even surprise me with it's quality and sharpness. We are quite a few members from SA using this lens and are happy with the results.

PS. I have tone down the blue sky and hope it looks better. I use the jpeg file to alter as the Tiff file is at the office.

You made the sky lighter and I like both versions. What I had in mind was desaturating the BLUE channel a bit.... :) Sorry that I was not more clear.
