    Default Silhouetted Barn Swallow

Taken last night up at a freinds cabin. Its hard to relax without a camera even on a holiday! :)

As far as I can tell, this could very well be a silhouette of a bank swallow :D I don't think I can comment on the feather details and how well exposed the bird is :) but a pretty background I can see. I personally would like to have more negative space in this photo since I think - I could be wrong here - the selling point is more the background rather than the bird itself.

Oh, the head angle seems to be a bit off, too, if that means anything. :)

Perfect silhouette, and I like the curves formed from the pose. Certainly stands out against the lighter BG, but would maybe blend in the darker area in the URC.

If the colors in the BG were warmer, this would fare much better IMO. Silhouette is very sharp, which is a plus.

Good call on the warming up idea, Fabs. Grazi!

Great repost, a little too saturated but a big difference. I might suggest blurring the BG more. Congratulations.

Thanks for commenting, Ramon! Another good idea on the BG blurring.
