From St. Augustine (one of our oldest cities) which I thought was fitting for the 4th. I took this when I had first
started getting serious about photography. As you can see from the settings I had no idea what I was doing. I quickly ran through some of ABT II for comments
on silhouettes to see if I had committed major errors:confused:. Please let me know if I did.

    Comments and suggestions greatly appreciated:)

Hi Cheryl. I love the colors and textures. Think it fits the assignment perfectly with sweet pre-dawn light! I like the silhouette look too. The sky is really nice.

gorgeous colors! The silhouette of the architecture is very interesting, also. I think I would have wanted a bit of separation between the first two trees from the left.

(boy, not only do you FL people have fancier birds, you also have more exotic skies!!!)

Hi Cheryl Love this image Well composed and lots of feel !!

Got a couple of suggestions .... tiny separation with the merging tree and sharpen the top of the trees. Having outlines sharp make a difference. Don't know how much it will look when posted but it did make a difference in my computer ... also increase contrast a little tad ... btw a brand new term to express something less than a tad :)

Alfred, thanks for the suggestions - the trees look much better with the sharper outlines. How do you achieve
a tiny separation with the merging tree (I agree it's not very aesthetic)?

    Thanks,

    Cheryl
