    I like the eye contact and BG, interesting perch, too. I could also see this as a vertical crop and might increase the color temperature a bit.

    Juan, amazing colours on the woodpecker, and love the look of the fossilised perch. Killer BG too.

    I could also see this as a vertical, but the color temperature seems fine to me. Lovely exposure, sharpness, and BG. The perch is a little too dominant for me.

    You really nailed the details in the full range of tones on this impressive bird. I like how you captured the subtle blue tones in the shoulder. That white eye ring gives the bird a look that almost drills a hole in you!
