When presenting a bird this large in a frame, some part will be dead ctr. What would be a correct placement for the above subject?
I am fine with this COMP. An option would have been to point the lens to the left more as the bird is looking right. The steep angle to the bird is a bigger problem for me than the COMP. It would not hurt to lose the dark o-of stuff in the lrhc.

Nice bird..good colors..good sharpness at 1/40. But I second with Arthur...the angle is the problem here. You did an excellent job of keeping the whole bird sharp. Good use of aperture.
