Hello:
I would like to take an online course to improve my skills with Photoshop CS4. I was hoping someone might have a recommendation.
Thanks.

Lynda.com
You work at your own pace....they have different enrollments, but I have used the $25 per month with unlimited hours.

Kirk, if you know even the very basics, I'd recommend Scott Kelby's Online Training. He has classes for almost everything and it only costs $20/month to take as many as you want whenever you want. I learned a ton of shortcuts and tricks from that website and it was well worth the money I spent. The big plus is every course he offers is geared towards the photographer. Outstanding website and training for the price in my opinion.

You can see the first three installments of any class for free to see if you think it would be a good match.
Another vote for Kelby Training here, I have tried out some of their material and it is excellent. I believe there is a free preview for each lesson.
Hi, it isn't online; however, it is a great approach to leaning CS4:
Adobe - CS4 - Classroom In A Book
I am doing it right now; I am also doing some online with Kelby too.
And, I will now look at Lynda.com.

"Nature Interpreted" - Photography begins with your mind and eyes, and ends with an image representing your vision and your reality of the captured scene; photography exceeds the camera sensor's limitations. Capturing and Processing landscapes and seascapes allows me to express my vision and reality of Nature.
Kelbys book - 7 point system helped me the most.
