Here is one of my better squirrels I think.

Sharp right where you need it. Nice work Jim. I don't feel the extra space to the left of the squirrel is helping the image. I would crop to just left of the green leave - the one near the whisker.

    Thanks Robert,

Is this what you meant, or farther and more square?

Also, I keep forgetting the sRGB conversion now that I'm not using Save for Web as much anymore. I wondered why the thing looked so blah this morning.

Good sharpness and detail in this capture, the BG is nicely controlled.. The cropping helped. Very nice image

Love the crop suggestion Was just wondering about the color balance? Just tweaked using the black in the eye for reference

Hi Al, I think your version is a little less red than mine? I had to pull them into a document side by side and then measure with the digital color meter to see the difference.

The original was a little green and I used Chaz's technique to neutralize it. Probably a matter of just a few points on the opacity slider.

Just for giggles here is the first version with no color "correction."

A HA! now that I open the thread up in Safari, I can see a bigger difference. Too bad I don't like Safari for other reasons :(
