Unfortunately this is the last entry I think I can get in for the week. I'll try another tomorrow night (AEST) if I can. I had the camera on a tripod, timer and I pulled my best Gil Grissom (CSI LV) pose I could with the arms folded. :p

I'll post the original below, but be aware, not a pretty sight. :o:o:o

Thanks Denise. I try to smile lots. At least fake it if I have to. :D

Though I usually like the other end of the camera. Understandably.

I like putting a face to the......avatar. Hey, nothing wrong with that.....my son had a rock band for several years. Only bad thing was they practiced in our basement. Love what you've done with your image. Grissom has nothing on your!

Thank You Lana, that's not me in the Avatar unfortunately, but my (one of few) guitarist idols. :(

Oskosh, I like the blurred/painterly version better! (Sorry, I could not resist.) IAC, in the fancy version I think that the effects on the face are a bit overdone (if you know what I mean...)

Nice to meet you, Akos! Every time I see your avatar I immediately think "Ted Nugent!" It's nice to see the real face!

I love the self-portrait. What an interesting technique you used. It really compliments the portrait and gives everything a nice watercolor feel but still retains the texture.

    Thanks Artie and Julie.

You are funny Sir Artie. ;) I know what you mean about overdone perhaps, but smudged looks better than clear to me.

    Have a great day! :)
