    This image was made back in late July during a visit to Elkhorn Slough in Moss Landing, California using a Canon Rebel XT and 70-300mm IS lens.

    1/500sec at f/6.3; ISO 400; EC = 0; No Flash

    Lovely composition and habitat. You did well with the exposure keeping the whites safe. The flowers are a nice touch!

    Excellent reproduction for whites !!!! Very fine feel to this image I anything would like more room for the bird The surroundings look beautiful Also a slight head turn !!!

    Lovely image - I really like that blurred background with the sharp vegetation close to the egret. The yellows on the bird and flowers work well.

    Beautiful, beautiful whites. It has got to be overcast light that, in part produced this lovely image ?

    I thank you all for the feedback/critiques. I am glad that you all like this image. I have an 11x14 on the wall at home and an 8x10 in my office. I like it too! :D

    That said, I am still open to and would welcome any other feedback.
