    From Little Cayman a mutton snapper Just started the dive and had the flash set for full power and this fish came right up to me, just had time to set the f stop but could not balance the ambient ... its been many years but still remember !!! Nikonos 111 15 mm UW Nikkor Ikelite 150

    Hi Al, I know that feeling, just in the water and some cool opportunity comes along before you are completely ready. You did well to get the shot...the resulting lighting and focal length really combine to make him look big!

    A great, great place to dive, Little Cayman...Bloody Bay Wall, the bird reserve in the middle of the island, not many people, Iguana Crossing signs on the few roads, big conch shells everywhere . I'd go back again any day.

    The fish looks big. What would be the depth Alfred?

    Its interesting to know that you remember the details after so many years. I remember all the images that I have seen but missed clicking altogether or did badly.

    Some details you never forget !!! This snapper was probably under ten pounds and twenty five feet or so. It was at Bloody Bay What a place !!!
