My first post. Art, you'll remember this.

Ralph, My favorite pilot. Great to see you hear. Lovely detail in the blacks, and SH> A bit tight in the frame and the iris could go a bit brighter. Bob and Gill will miss you on the Midway trip; they will not have anyone to pick on. We sure had fun in Iceland. I shall always remember those $45 pieces of pie.

Thanks for the comments, Artie. I've been crying myself to sleep at night, knowing that I won't be going to Midway with you (can't afford it right now), but knowing that Bob and Gill will be there and I won't - that's a real blow. BTW, LOVE your latest Katmai pics.

I like the look the Puffin has, as mentioned, maybe a bit tight, not sure if it could be a bit sharper. Colours are nice and I like the rock.

OK. I've taken Artie's and Art's advice and lightened the iris, added a catchlight, and sharpened a bit. I also thought the original post looked a bit soft on the contrast, and increased it a bit.

Much better. I will send your love to Gill. Have you found your 500mm lens yet?

ps: What lens was this image created with?
