    A whitefaced duck taking off. I enjoy getting the timing just right, so as to get him in the frame, and still include the splash. Taken in Pretoria at one of the local spots.

    Super light and comp. Tree reflection in BG a bit distracting. Water splash looks oversharpened and the head a bit soft. Still well done on this

    Head does look a tad soft, and would have been nice with no reflection in water on right side, lower angle might have been really interesting, super timing, drops are excellent.

    Lovely, light, action, and exposure. Comp works well with the water splash. Tree reflection does not bug me.I agree about the sharpness of the head, but not the water splash.

    I like the springing from the water look. Reflection not a problem for me. Agree on the head sharpening.

    Thanks for the positive feedback guys. I have tried to sharpen the head as best without losing IQ, and have lightened the face too.
