My wife's horse riding instructor found Lucy on her nine-acre farm just up the road at about three months of age. Lucy was already a little, talkative sweetheart and we fell in love with her. Another student wanted to take her just to keep the cat in the barn to catch mice. FORGET IT said we. This cat needs a HOME and NOT A BARN, out in the cold. So Lucy came and stayed and we dearly love her. Not an hour goes by when she does not rub past, meowing, asking for a pet. She is sitting right beside me on a chair in the kitchen, purring out aloud, though fast asleep. Sadly though, she'll have to have an operation or her hind leg joints as they are very, very loose and she buckles easily. We have tried to wait as long as possible but she is three now and really, starting to show. It's a long and painful rehab for her. So we are very anxious.
Hope you like our little Lucy. She was about four months here.
