Default THEME: Benson / Evening glow

I captured this image with my birding set-up. 300mm+1.4x. I shot almost directly into the sun to get the real warm tones that I love.

Once converted in DAP with the Benson theme, I added a Topaz Vivacity Clean filter, a drop shadow frame that took ages to pick the preferred BG color for.

    Hope you like this.

Akos, I love backlit images. The warm color tones combined with the brush strokes are lovely. I like the drop-shadow it makes it look as if it's hanging on a wall!! Nice work!!

this is a beautiful rendering from that original.....did you visualize this before processing.
I do find the border and dark shadow a bit overpowering my friend and offer an option.

I made a canvas bg to match the forum here....there is a tool called color spy that
will give you any color when you mouse over....RGB, hex etc

Dave, thank you so much man! That little, subtle frame is so much better.

Yes, this is pretty much how I wanted it to look. I thought Benson's palette. Go for it! I think this is my best one to date. I knew the RAW had enough warm in it that it would render so well. Gee, I am speaking like I am some DAP expert now aye? ;)

Thanks again, you made it much, much stronger!

so glad you like the option....the image is quite nice.
I think my fav of yours is the steam locomotive......a bit more perspective and that
    is a killer rendering

Akos - I love back lit images and this one is beautiful! I like the repost with the subtle framing better.
It looks to me like you qualify as a DAP expert!!!

Thanks Cheryl. I have had this particular set-up in my head since about January last year. I finally managed to be in a good spot at sunset. Of course, I was there primarily to photograph birdies anyway. Just could not help myself though.

    Have a great day!
