love the soft pastel tones - nice detail in the dragonflys wings. Personal taste - would have preffered him facing toward you rather than away :)
    Looking forward to more :)

Glenn, Really nice BG and nice details in your DF . I don't mind him looking away as it gives a nice view of his wings. I might clean-up the edges of the frame on the top right. Beautiful.

Hi Glenn Do like seeing the backside and with the beautiful bg Normally they do look better facing you but this is one of those that can break the rule !!! Works for me !!

    hi Glenn --

I like your image very much: the colorful dragonfly against a beautiful, soft background. I even like the very light green leaves on the top right, which seems to me to go with the green grasses on the botton right, because the whole effect is very subtle.

I think your animal may be a Calico Pennant, but I am very unreliable at Id'ing dragonflies.

Thanks Gus, Kent im glad you like it dragons are real hard to ID there are so many kinds and i havent found a book that covers them all ,but i have to agree with your ID it looks like a Calico Pennant and sex would be female more orange than red compared to the male .
