Default Fourth of July - 6

    Canon EOS 5D – EF35-135/4-5.6 USM @ 40mm – ISO 200 - 1/15Sec. @ f/18 – Metering Spot – Exposure Compensation 0 Adjusted with Antique Light filter, in Lightroom 2.4 to create tinted light.

This is the wall of names, in the "chapel area" of the Arizona Memorial. Included on the list are all the names of the officers, sailors and marines who are entombed in the ship. I shot the image to show some of the names, but also the figure reviewing the list, possibly for friends or relatives who may have been there on that day.

    Lest we forget.

I stand and salute each and every one of them who fought for freedom.

    Long live freedom!

    Very powerful image Mark.

Thank you one and all. I had this one waiting all week to publish, but thought the end of the series would be most fitting. One more to come. The final blast! Hope you enjoy. ;)

Al, Don't know when you were last there, but Hawaii
