What a powerfull and great pose! Stunning light, great detail, comp, perch, and that BG is unbeatable! Congratulations!
Agreed with previous fellas. Great work Jim!
Hey Jim, WOW! Great intense pose with beautiful wing positions and calling too. I see some noise and or jpeg compression in the bg.
It doesn't get better than this, Jimmy, great pose and detail, sweet light and BG.
Love this one Jim, This bird is just to serious. Who was he/she screaming at?
Brian
Way, way over the top Jim!! The pose, the scream, the cocked tail, that seriously intense look, bg, exposure, wing position, everything comes together with tremendous impact in this one! Congratulations on a fabulous photo.
Cheers!
Bruce
Super pose and comp. I would have liked a lower angle here but not always possible hey;)
Hople you dont mind but i have played with your image.
Done some NR on bg cause i see some noise.
Then selected the bird and added some S/H to lift it up a bit
Then deselected. Added some levels and sat
Last i burned the Rock a bit.
Hope it works
GREAT image well done maybe just play a bit with it
Killer pose Jim, and even better killer detail. I like what Kobus has done to the BG,and the rock, but not sure on the upping of the saturation on the colours of the falcon.
Cool expressive pose and I like the placement of the rock. I might be inclined to split your rendition of the bird with the repost. I like the rock in Kobus version but find the brighter background competing more with the falcon. The green foliage in the background of both seems out of place with the other colors and works more against them than with them.
I just came back from Niagara Falls in the hopes of getting images close to this but never saw one. Congratulations on the fine photos of these birds you are sharing with us.

Powerful image and talons!
Love the open beak and BG. Noise reduction seems to be necessary. Kobus repost looks great.
