I find so difficult to get these guys on a natural perch. They sing low in the grass.
Anyhow, here's one on a man made perch. The perch was a bit cleaned up by QM.

    Critique appreciated...

No the ideal perch IMO, but the light, BG, pose and comp are very nice, I would go a bit tighter. Congratulations!

To add to Ramon's comments, you might want to tone down the perch.

You can burn the wood with the burn tool in PS. The difference will be very good. Nice bird indeed, love the yellow brow. A little less space around it would be fabulous! :) Thanks for sharing

Nice head turn and clean BG. Agree on toning down the perch, but the space feels OK to me.

Great detail on the sparrow Ilija, sharp, and like the colours. Great BG too. Not much we can do where they decide to land, but I would tone the perch down a bit.

I like angle and eye contact. Adding to the other suggestions, I would run NR on the BG and lighten the eye a bit.

    Thanks everyone,

I tried to create as bright image as possible here, I guess I over did it.
Agree with Fabs and would still leave the space open, but also agree with Axel about NR in BG
