I'm currently (for today, at least) obsessed with terns. I came across this behavioral image in my files of (I think) a year ago. I was aiming through a fence at a group of adult terns protecting and feeding a juvenile and thought it was an engaging sight. The baby, which cannot be seen, is resting within the group in a depression about three-quarters to the right. Each of the two terns on the left has a small fish in its bill. And, as you see, they are all "screaming" to frighten off predators (my guess). By the way, this was taken before I was aware of ISO and EV setting possibilities. All comments welcome . . .

Hi Wendell Just softer light is needed !!! Do like the group image For these type my best suggestion is taking many and work the group hard. It is just about impossible to look for all head angle, merges etc. so make up with numbers !!!!

I'm sure this would look mighty fine a lot larger !!!!

Hi Wendell - love the group behavior - wondering if there is a colour cast - not on a corrected screen at the moment.
    Keep them coming :)
