Default Abstract - Black-Crowned Night Heron

Thought this was interesting, but didn't have a representation of an artist to relate to it. So I will take full credit! ;)

The image was originally shot with my 840mm lens (300 f/2.8 w/1.4 & 2x extenders). I had an abstract for consideration, but in checking possible look-a-likes, I couldn't find one to relate it to. Then I went back into filters and distort and tried the polar coordinates, with the polar/rectangular option. I liked it on its end, so here is what became of the Black-Crowned Night Heron image. ;) :D

    Enjoy!

Thanks everyone for the comments. Just came out that way! ;) :D

Denise, I rotated it the full 360 and this was what I liked, but agree, there are at least three other views possible.

It kind of reminded me of a mountain stream, when I first saw this angle. That is why I thought it would be fun to show it. But as with any real abstract, the view is in the eye of the beholder. Give it your best shot! ;)

Going to have to try this at home...I agree with Akos, that I cannot make out the heron...lolol.. counterclockwise rotation looks like a cave formation and clockwise looks like a waterfall....very good job

Yup, my interpetation too. Try it you might like it! ;)

Hint, the bill of the Heron is the red on the bottom. The red in the center is the leg. The white is the throat area and the grey is the body. The image is rotated 90 degrees counter clockwise here.

Now it is perfectly clear! :D :D
