This is Yoda. A Seal Point Himalayan Persian. We got him at 4 months old 3 years ago this weekend. He is definitely King of the house and pampered like all the wonderful pets posted here.

I always loved the coloring of this breed. A well captured family member. Thanks for sharing, :)

Thanks to all for the comments.

Axel, Himalayan Persians are a result of breeding Persians and Siamese. They are then bred on their own. the main characteristic is the flat face with hardly any nose. They have a issue with under developed tear drainage system so their eyes need daily care. Yoda is very vocal and "speaks" to us all the time. We have learned his various vocabulary words fairly well.

Do these guys have any Siamese mischevious characteristics? I have a Champagne Burmese (derived from the Siamese) and he drives me bonkers! He is a sweetheart though, but a total nutcase.

Oh yeah, this house is mine! That's mine too, and that over there - that's mine... :D He's a real beauty!

We have a Yoda also. He is a Tonkinese, a breed derived from crossing Burmese and Siamese cats. He is our Alpha male and rules the clan! I will post a pic of him tomorrow!

No Akos, he is not mischevious. He is insistent! He runs up to me with expectant eyes and his back arched a bit and wants me to chase him all over the house!..He follows Gail and me wherever we go just to be close, but does not sit in our laps. If Gail and I are in different parts of the house he either stays between us or alternates his time between us. We love it!

Adorable face Ed, they all are the kings and queens of their respective abodes. Wouldn't be any other way for these kitties.:)
