Nice comp, the colours are a little hot and there is detail lost in the reds.....gorgeous bird. Would like more DOF also.

Beautiful bird and nice details. For wider DOF I would have stopped down to at least f/8 if not f/11 since your shutter speed was very high. You could desaturate the reds a few points and better eye contact would have improved the image. You could also try a wider crop so the perch doesn't look too prominent.

loads of colour impact here Libertus displayed by this beautiful bird, but unfortunate about the cumbersome perch (with sawn-off branches) which is just just too heavy for this composition. A litle more space on both sides would also help the composition.

    Hello and welcome.

Los colores estan super! The pose works well for me. I would use some kind of NR software to reduce the noise!

Gorgeous bird and fantastic colors! I would tone down the reds a bit. You had loads of shutter speed so stopping down would have been a good choice.

Barbets are so beautiful, and your iimage is lovely. Nice pose and good detail. A slight desaturation of the red only will bring back the detail that is so often lost on bright red or brilliant orange plumage. Agree that more dof was desirable for this image. Looking forward to seeing more posts of the beautiful birds of your country.
