I love the comp, exposure, blend of greens and especially the eye contact in this one Alfred...he/she definitely does look a bit forlorn and maybe even embarrassed about his/her condition. Seems to be missing a couple of toes on the right foot as well!

    Cheers!

Very nice. He looks like one miserable lizard! Like the eye contact and how he appears to be trying to hide behind the stem.

A very nice natural history image, Alfred and it does look rather unhappy. :) Sharp, good exposure and nice lighting. The only thing I'm not that fond of is the catchlight in the lower portion of the eye - looks a bit odd to me. If this is a flash-generated catchlight, I would suggest moving it to the upper third of the pupil. Minor point - there are a few dust spots evident in the OOF background area. Overall, well done.

He still looks proud despite moulting. I like his little hands clinging on to the stem, this image brought a smile to my face Al:)

I like the framing Mr. Forns. The tones and hues are superb, and the sharp eye makes it for me...

Brings a smile to my face. He does look rather sad. The detail in the eye is wonderful.

Poor fellow! I'd be in hiding, too, if I looked like that!

Alfred, this is a wonderful example of why one would buy a macro lens! Perfect DOF and right where you want it to be. Nice BG and composition is perfect.
