    This is a shot of the oil slick that still bubbles from the hull of the USS Arizona and has done so since December 7, 1941. The Navy chose not to seal the leak, but to leave it as a symbol of the lost ship and crew. Those entombed in the ship have remained there and the memorial is an official military burial site of the United States, with all honors of other military cemeteries. Survivors of the are allowed to be buried with their crew mates, when they pass away.

    The concrete structure is one of the mooring blocks for the Arizona. The ship can be seen below the water from the memorial. The memorial spans across the ship and does not touch any part of the ship's structure.

    Excellent view Mark Did you get one of the turret? Have some but can't find !!
