    Hello Alan,

I like it a lot. Very nice bird, nice perch, well exposed, good BG. Congratulations.

The thumbnail had Alan Murphy all over it already...excellent shot. Technically very good as usual. I love the OOF branches in the lower right as they add a lot of depth to the photograph. Only a different pose could improve this IMO. Very nicely done!

Tough perch for the bird :D
Nevertheless I like the coloration of this image. Pose is very nice. A real Murphy's style. :)

Really like the light and the details in the bird. The perch is very nice as well.

I like the overall color composition, not too saturated color
give a good feel for the desert habitat. Very good pose and
    interesting perch.

Alan...lovely shot as usual. The sharpness of the cactus makes this image. But I find the bird a little oversharpened....but that might just be my personal taste.

I always look forward to all your posts.
