I like this picture, it tells a story and I love the guy in the middle holding one foot up like Bruce Lee. This is a great "day in the life nature moment", well done.

Vegetation collides with birds a bit, some blades of grass in the background are distracting, maybe a little trim here and there, great picture, it makes me smile.

I love the action here...very humorous photograph. However, technically there are some things you could have done better. The light seems a bit harsch, so if they're on that beach all the time I'd go back on a time of day that the light is better. Also a lower shooting angle would improve this photograph as it will throw your background further out of focus, which will give a more pleasing photograph in this case.

    Hey Doug,
It was nice meeting you yesterday at Nickerson. You should stop by the landscape forum and pay me a visit! I had to do a double take because I have a similar pose 1 frame before my post. I also have the full wings up the frame before but i like the head turns in this one better. We were fortunate to get the bird landing in the right direction.......grass by mom's face was removed in my version and I would recommend doing that if you are OK with such things......all in all very nice moment captured in a very difficult situation.
