This time light is more even, and a single bird is seen basking in the warm fall morning sun. Almost a full frame image. I would understandably prefer a cleaner BG, but there is no option here sadly. :(

Amazing bird. Sharp with a perfect EXP. Much cleaner than the first one. Next time try f/4. Better yet, find one on a cloudy day.

The camouflage is amazing, good details and interesting pose. I hope you will find one with a cleaner BG sometime.

Akos, perfect postioning to capture the frogmouth's back to follow the shape of the tree trunk. Amazing camouflauge, sharp, and looks like he's enjoying the sun. Great capture.

Ditto Stuart's comments. If you get bored, cloning out the brighter sticks in the BG might help a bit while still retaining the color and feel of the habitat.
