From this morning at Nickerson. Made it to bed at 11pm Saturday after a function and had to get up at 3:30am to make it for sunrise.......spent 4 hours concentrating on the tern chicks being fed and skimmer fights.......was rewarded with this 1 series around 8:30, where all were parallel to the plane. Cropped to a pano to remove skimmer LLC and URC. Minor greenery clean up. Took a 2 hour siesta when I came home!!!
Canon 1D Mark lll with the Sigma 300-800 at 800mm for 1/4000 sec. at f8 and ISO 800.

Roman, Nice line-up, nice fish, nice raised wings. Dave: you are under arrest by the Shadow Police.... But you did put a smile on my face.

Hey Dave, Three birds. Four shadows. Fifteen to twenty without the chance for parole!

Maestro, I thought the fourth shadow was the fish? :D

Nice image Roman. Patience paid off. I wish the adult's wings were spread fully or not. Just does not quite sit well for me in this position. Congrats! :)

Lovely family interaction. All three well exposed and sharp. In this, I would add to the top. I dont have a problem with Pano crops at all, but for some reason, I see this as a more conventional crop.
