    Default Guillemot flightshot, with fish

Another from Ireland. I made flightshots during better weather conditions, but I liked the monochromous colours on this one and thought I would start out with this one first. Wish the bird would have been looking at me, but the rest of the colony was below me and since it was about to land I guess looking at me wasn't a real option.

I like the unusual pose, mood and eye contact. The fish adds to it. I might give it a bit more room at the top. I look forward to seeing more of your images from this trip.

Super landing pose, and well exposed. You have done well considering the overcast conditions, and I would add a bit to the top.

Very happy the bird isn't looking at you! Excellent detail here my friend! I'm impressed with your flight-shot techniques. Be careful with the colorcast-removal technique that we usually use. There is a lot of blue and cyan in the water, and by using the average blur technique to remove the colourcast it will warm up the shot more than you'd actually want to do, resulting in too much red in this case. So if I were you, I'd cool it down a bit by adding some cyan. Cheers!

Nice image Krijn. Love the landing pose and the catch in its bill.
You did well under those circumstances.

A bit more room on top but that would be all to me, the rest is amazing, great light, natural moment, pose, detail, exposure, BG and species! Congrtatulations!

A little tigh above for me, but still very well executed in most likely challenging conditions Krijn.
