Louisiana, Lake Martin.
Lake Martin is slowly coming back to life. The birds are getting closer to the road. Last year you could hardly see them, this year they are about 300 meters away. The owls are still along the road hunting in the mornings.

I like the angle, half-portrait and BG, the feather sticking out adds to it. I would give it more room top and bottom. I would also sharpen the bird more.
