    Nice shot Stuart, lots of detail in the plumage, a little head turn would have also been nice but very pleasing anyway :)

    Although your image probably is straight, I rotated it a little so that the bands at the top were level as they just kept drawing my eye to them too much and it improved it for me, you may not agree though :)

    Good pose and love the raised feathers Sure wish you had the head and sun angle, light was from your right and left rear is a bit dark !! Would select and lighten !!! btw from the water the image seems to be tilted?
