    Default Robin feeding young

This was a challenging shot for me. Shady area with back light.
    5DMKII - 1/200th, ISO 800, 400 f/5.6 wide open, 550 flash at -2/3 with Better Beamer.
Post Processing - CS3(After Dng conversion) - Crop 5x7, Fill light - 14, smart sharpen.

    Thanks in advance for comments.

    A very sweet Randy,
I like the behavior captured in it's natural habitat...well done...my recommendation would be to tone down the warm out of focus white blotches in the background, and also crop from the bottom of the frame up to where the branch forks at an angle...aside from this, you did very well...congrats...looking forward to your next one...

Thanks Gus. This is my first bird pic with 5D. Wife said the same thing about too much branch at bottom.

    Hi Randy

Really nice clean nest !!! Removing the some form the bottom as noted will sure help !!

In back light situations you normally want to sue more flash .. will start at zero and might even go up a little !! sure wish you could come up with a different bg Love the parent and chicks !!!

Hi Randy - lOve teh action/Interaction - agree the BG is not the best, but sometimes it is what it is.
Toning down some of the bright spots in the BG will certainly help.
Looking forward to seeing more :)
