    Default Magic Sunrise Water

Sunrise in Moraine Park in Rocky Mountain National Park, the water glowed in such a perfect way. Went to the lowest ISO, highest f stop to get a long shutter speed. Saturated it a bit and cropped about 10% from the top.

Jared, The water has a beautiful flow and the colors are lovely. I like the inclusion of the darker area at the top. This reminds me of a Michael Frye image. I like it very much. I wish the image was larger and I'm not crazy about the border. I bet this is amazing in a large print.

It's nice, but is it in the right forum: Macro/Flora/Fauna?

    Bob,

I pondered for a while where to put it myself, its a macroscape in my book so it fell here. It seems to fit in more with the abstract macro stuff than the grand scenics in the landscape side. Any mod is free to move it if they feel the need to.

Hi Jared You are making a good point for keeping here !!! Was going to move but here it stays !!!

Only wish you could have posted larger to enjoy Love the smooth tonality and flow to the image Was thinking on taking a little form the top but can't come up with a better crop !!! Love it as presented !!!!

I'm a big fan of water images and this is breathtaking. I do agree that the frame adds nothing to the image and I'd love to see a bigger version if you have it!

Ha, the border is nothing more than a nice frame to go on my personal website and a cheap and easy way to water mark stuff. I know its not perfect, but it takes about 3 seconds.

    Here is a larger version.

Absolutely beautiful! I love the colors and softness that creates a sense of motion. Well done!!!
