    While still a week away, I thought it would be good to offer some images of inspiration for those of us lucky enough to be here in this great country.

    This image was taken at Pearl HarborArizona Memorial and the USS The USS Arizona representing the beginning of our entry into the war in the Pacific and the USS Missouri representing the end of the war, on whose deck General McArthur signed the documents to end the war. It was one of many wars fought for our freedom and that of our friends around the world. It is time to remember, before we forget.

    I hope others here will join this thread during the next week to show support for our men and women wherever they may be, whether they be stationed in relative safety, or in Harms Way.

    Yes Al, I've been there at least 5 or 6 times now, over the years, and still get the same feelings as the story unfolds. Everyone that goes to Hawaii should go there and feel the feelings that go through you. I have many memories of my visits there that will be with me forever.

    Another great image Mark and as I looked closely at this image I could not help but think how peaceful it all looks now !! Thanks for sharing and for stirring once again our feeling of gratitiude for all those who fought for our freedom. We are truly blessed.
