Im in my new place and loving it. 10 min from the sea and about 25 min drive from the most southern point of Africa.(Cape Augullas)

Wing position and sharpness look good. I might put the bird a little lower in the frame and would try to get more details in the shadows.

Considering the lighting condition, I think this looks pretty good. Good wing position and under-wing details ! I may have left a bit more room on the left though.

glad you're loving it! now we can come visit :)
super exposure to get details in this bird. great pose too.
I would add a tad of space at the top and some to the left, then take some off the bottom for a more 'pano' type crop. just my suggestion.

Nice exposure, and underwing detail. As Axel mentioned, the bird is a bit high in the frame. I can't decide whether or not I like the BG.

Very good job, and a difficult subject as well. Black birds are very tricky, and manual exposure was the way to go. You nailed it! But then there the totally black shadow, which is kind of disruptive, especially around the feet. Not much can be done post processing, and the only solutions would have been to have the sun in a better position, or have the light mediated by clouds. Nonetheless, a fine image. regards~Bill
