    Default Skimmer in Flight

I just love Skimmers. They are especially beautiful when they do the skimming thing, flying inches above the water while hunting for a meal. But they are also beautiful in more conventional flight.

This is very impressive. Beautiful eye, fantastic detail. I love the color of the water too. Congratulations.

Pin sharp Doug, and good job on the eye in the dark plumage. I would maybe take a bit off the top.

One of the best Skimmer images that really shows off their unique beak.

I couldn't agree with you more on these birds and you nailed this one. These birds are the most fun to shoot in the mornings when its calm on the water.

But that is one thing about shooting on the beach during this time of year with the coastal marine layer. Yet another weekend with foul weather and no morning sunlight.:(

Perfect in every way Doug. Nothing to add. All's been said. :)
