    This shot was taken in Moronis lake in Greece
    January 2008
    It`s little crop from the bottom
    Canon 40 D Canon EF 500mm f/4 1.4x TC
    1/400 f 5.6 iso 500

    Manos, It looks beautiful to me! It might be that it is a little dark - the swan appears a little on the brown side. I really like your photo very much.

    Manos,

    I like how you bring the neck in diagonally from the corner. That works very well. The ripple around the beak is cool. The contrast on the water is a bit high but probably not much you could do with that as the goose and the BG look right on for exposure.

    Peter,The bird is an immature thus the brown color. I like it for all of the reasons mentioned above. If you could have gotten a bit lower you could have avoided the merges between the neck and the far edge of the swirling water and between the bottom of the bill and the little green wave.

    I like the idea and composition and only wish for a slightly lower angle.
