Walked into a hillside of lupine and daisies and had sensory overload. So much color and beauty I just kept turning around and around trying to pick out a scene. (Kind of like going to a fabulous restaurant with too much to choose from on the menu) It took me a while to focus and start taking shots.

    Hi Eric

I like the idea behind this image Would probably compose a little different with the oof not in a straight line Do like the point of focus and soft bg !! Really nice !!!

I too light the oof idea here. I kind of like the straight line idea, but perhaps more on an angle, or more separation between them, or an angle where you could see all three stems. Actually, I found the straight line of daisies so contrary to how I usually think of easy-going daisies, that it struck me as fun and humorous.

    Hi Eric,
I like the concept implied...for compositions such as these, the out of focus flowers would be more esthetically pleasing on a gradual semi-curved formation, following the same position matrix from your main subject. They could be placed either way from the left or from the right hand side...I like the soft green background, which showcases your main flower quite nicely...would recommend on toning down portions of the hot whites...looking forward to your next one...good show...:)

I like the idea and the colors. Composition-wise, I would make them line up diagonally.

hi eric, i love the concept but agree with the others that a slight diagonal would have been better. great job finding these with the clean bg. might go back and work them again.

Hi Eric - Love the idea - agree with the idea of a bit of a diagonal line rather than the straight line.
BG rocks - love the feel.

Thanks for the advice guys. I can't go back and reshoot (finding those three out of the acres of wildflowers would be on the difficult side) but I will definitely keep the diagonal idea in mind during my future shoots.
