    Not the same bird as my last post. But same place and time.

    40d; 300 f/4 L non-IS; iso 640; 1/250; f/5.6; 70% crop; fill flash at -1 2/3; no exp. comp. NR on BG. USM and some brightening of bird.

    I cloned out one leaf that was very close to the bird's head.

    All critiques welcome and appreciated.

    Good pose, birds looking back, well placed in frame and good bg !!! Wish the one leaf was not overlapping the bird but its minor

    Didn't see the exp comp but looks a little under !!! PS wise might need a little work, would lighten the increase contrast a bit Would like to see with more punch !!s Easy fix !! If you need any particular PS help drop by ETL !!!!

    I think thats the best pose for the Blue Jay because it shows off his back feather pattern, on my monitor it looks a little under exposed.

    Nice looking Blue Jay. I like the pose and eye contact. As Al mentioned, a little lightening and contrast adjustment will bring out the best in this photo.
