Here is another White-Throated Sparrow picture. This one was in the leaves. I would like to have your thoughts on the fact that the body is partialy covered by leaves and branches. I like to see portion of the natural habitat, is it too much in this case?

I like the details and pose in this one. For me the bird is blocked a bit too much and it needs more room for the 'virtual tail'. Alternatively, I would put the bird higher in the frame.

    Rene:

I agree with Axel, a bit too much foliage. It might work as part of a series, but as a stand alone image, the foliage is a problem, IMO.

The bird itself is very sharp, well exposed.

Yes, a bit too much foliage for me too... The yellows are also a little too intense "lime" in the BG and leaves. The WTS is one of the easier species to attract onto clean and clear perches with the use of audio (if that is ethically permitting for you).
