    Default Synchronized flight

I'm not having too much time to go out shooting, so I ended up going to an artificial lake in the city where there are quite a lot of bords. I was actually looking for egrets and neotropic cormorants to practice son flight shots, but came up with these guys.

Excellent identical poses...even the individual feathers are placed the same! I also like the golden streaks in the water, but would probably tone down the lighter one at left to match the others. It helps that the far bird is a dark one serving as a backdrop for the front bird's head and neck. Perhaps more DOF would have made the far goose sharper, but this situation was surely an unexpected surprise to plan ahead for :-)

I like the poses and the overlap doesn't bother me at all here. I only find the contrast between bright plumage and dark BG a bit strong.
