A regular, and colorful visitor to my feeder. I am curious as to the orange-ish coloration of this guy. Is he a juvenile?

The leaf in front of the bird bugs me a little.

Killer HA and calling pose. And sharp. Could go a bit darker with the middle tones. The orange ones are variants. Be right back....

Calling pose, perch, eye contact and BG look good. I wish for a bit wider DOF.

Could have done a bit better with the TIFF... QMs mostly.

Wonderful picture. Beautiful bird, wished I could get one of these variants to my feeder. Agree with above critiques and Artie did a great job removing the leaf. Congratulations.

Nice job on the leaf, Artie. As for the middle tones, I think I would go somewhere between yours, and the original.

Aidan, lovely soft colours on the finch, and what a super pose, with the open beak. Well captured.

WHat an awesome expression. My only suggestion to Artie's work is that the toe looks weird, out of place.

    Congrats! :)

Didnt mind the twig on the original - lovely BG. Feel it needs a bit of room to the left.
